Women from around the Worcester
Diocese gathered at St. Mary's in Shrewsbury, MA for the Unity
Breakfast, the pre-cursor to the Gather Us In 2009 Conference. The purpose of the breakfast
was to gather in fellowship, continuing the spirit of the 2007
conference while creating enthusiasm about the upcoming conference.
Local author, speaker and
singer/songwriter Jaymie Stuart Wolfe was the keynote speaker, doing a
delightful, thoughtful, sometimes humorous presentation on four saints
named Teresa - "The Feminine Face of Holiness." Interspersed throughout
her hour-long presentation were 5 songs written and performed by Jaymie.
The breakfast was a great success and
we look forward to a wonderful conference in November of 2009!
