speak on Mary's Words.
Virginia Carmody
A cradle Catholic, school teacher, mother of two and
a St. Michael's parishioner, will give her inspiring
talk on the rosary.

Susan will lead a Lenten retreat focusing on
recognizing the Light of Christ in our lives and how
it changes us and conforms us more to the image of
Christ. She will lead her
Sung Rosary and provide music along with

Advent
Family Weekend
Join us for a family weekend of Advent preparation
for Christmas at Mary, Mother of Peace Church. On
Friday night, Susan opens for headliner
Sharmane Adams with an evening concert of joyful
and upbeat contemporary Christian music. During the
day on Saturday, Susan provides beautiful meditative
Advent music for a day-long retreat presented by
Deacon Dave McDowell. She will end the day with her
Sung Rosary, presenting the Joyful Mysteries.

Susan shares how the often forgotten, yet beautiful
season of Advent, brings her peace in the midst of
the noisy and chaotic commercial Christmas. She will
share her personal testimony, sing beautiful
original songs of the season, and share practical
tips on how to use all the beauty of Advent to bring
peace to your Christmas. |

Lima parish can attend the dinner. So, if you plan
on attending the talk, it will be a free event, but
you will not be able to attend the dinner. For those
who are members of St. Rose of Lima Parish, the
presentation is followed by a catered dinner with
entertainment provided by the Algonquin Jazz Band.
If you want to go to the dinner, you need to pay $15
to attend.
