Teach Me to Love
With
a voice likened to Linda Ronstadt and Karen Carpenter, these
twelve original songs will soothe, inspire and uplift. Citing
scripture and relying on influences in her life, Susan's songs
reflect her personal walk with Jesus Christ as expressed through
her Catholic faith. Covering such topics as hope, brokenness,
sin, grieving, worship and joyous revival in the Holy Spirit,
this is a CD you will listen to again and again. Includes two
songs dedicated to the memory of Mother Teresa.
If you are looking
for new liturgical music, Teach Me to Love can
supply you with thoughtful choices for the mass, especially as
songs for meditation.

*****Genuine,
Powerful Worship
By Nick Alexander (Fairfield, CT United States)
This review is from: Teach Me to Love (Audio CD)
This is a wonderful inspirational album. There are a few tracks
on this that bring me into the presence of God. "Simon, Son of
John" is, in my opinion, a perfect song... catchy, reverent,
takes a familiar passage in Scripture and illuminates it for us.
"Come into His Heart", is congregational-friendly and touching.
The title track, Teach Me to Love, is filled with passion and
tenderness. There's a lot to like in this album, and worthwhile
for your quiet times.
*****Spiritual
truths in a delightful style
By Michael Zabrocki (Howard Beach, NY United States)
This review is from: Teach Me to Love (Audio CD)
I don't often write reviews but Ms. Bailey's "Teach Me To Love"
deserves attention. Teach Me To Love takes the listener on a
colorful spiritual journey...the songs present deep spiritual
truths in a delightful style. When Ms. Bailey sings - the soul
of the listener sings along as well. Ms. Bailey's lyrics become
the listener's prayers. She is a gifted lyricist. The styles
range from ballad to soft rock - really, there is something for
all tastes. A review of this artist and album could not be
complete without mentioning the vocal ability of Ms. Bailey (and
the vocal arrangements, harmonies, etc...) - her voice is
obviously her primary instrument. Her tone is pure and she
exudes a humble confidence that makes the listener feel like she
is singing only for them! Nice to see such talent used for the
Glory of God! Highly Recommended!
